Sons of the American Revolution

So far, I am able to trace back to 4 individuals that would qualify for the Sons of the American Revolution on *my* side (through the Austins) and 1 individual thus far for my husband's Truslow side. I know that there are many more, so more information to come as I work on them. Information below is from DAR Patriot Index, unless noted otherwise.

Austin side:
  • Job Bryant: Ensign, Massachusetts; baptized Sep 1745 Massachusetts, died 29 Nov 1807 Massachusetts, married (1) Mary Turner
  • David Dunbar, Sr.: Private, Massachusetts; born 27 Jun 1711 Massachusetts, died after 14 Sep 1781 Massachusetts, married (1) Susannah Hayward (2) Sarah Blake (3) Mercy Sole/Soul
  • Thomas White: Private, Civil Service, Patriotic Service, Massachusetts; born 16 Oct 1735 Massachusetts, died 02 Oct 1791 Massachusetts, married (1) Sarah Blair
  • Robert Trumbull: Sergeant, Soldier Pensioned, Connecticut; born 1754 Scotland, died 24 Aug 1840 Vermont, married (1) Lucy Babcock
  • Robert Lumpkin: Patriotic Service, Virginia; born c1756 Virginia, died after 09 Nov 1805, married [(1) Elizabeth Forrest (*not in Patriot Index)]

Truslow side: (not in DAR Patriot Index, must prove first)

  • Benjamin Truslow: Private, Soldier Pensioned, Virginia; born Jan 1756 Virginia, died 1847 Virginia, married (1) Keziah Mannan/Manan
